How it’s done

Yes, it is an art. Customizing a facial rejuvenation plan for each patient has proven to be the best tool for achieving  optimal results.  I love to discuss a treatment plan with each patient; recognize their priorities, educate them on the appropriate products, and then, together we formulate a plan that best suits their needs.

IN THE BEGINNING

I began working with an incredible plastic surgeon back in 1985. Dr. John Griffin taught me all facets of plastic surgery.  I assisted him in surgery, did pre- and post-operative teaching, made rounds in the hospital and eventually began injecting dermal fillers.  Our practice evolved into mostly aesthetic surgical procedures and I began injecting neuro-modulators (Botox) and dermal fillers as a big part of my nursing practice. Dr. Griffin retired in 2016, and I have focused on Aesthetic Injectables and Skin Care since then.   For the past 20 years I have also enjoyed working as an Independent Contractor teaching other practitioners the art of facial rejuvenation.  I have been a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ASPSN) now the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN) since 1985.  I have served in many capacities for this organization, and was President in 2003 and 2004.  I am a Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse (CPSN) and a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS).
